FAQ
Have questions?
We've got answers!
Yes! We specialize in creating liquid and powdered water-soluble nano-formulations of a wide variety of therapeutic bioactive ingredients. We also offer formulation and contract manufacturing services.
We do not label or package for retail. Once the nano-formulated liquid or powder is produced, it is shipped in bulk containers for you to package and label for retail.
Absolutely. Large-scale production of water-soluble liquid and powdered nano-formulations is what we do best.
Most of our customers prefer to provide their own bioactive extracts for us to convert into water-soluble forms. In most cases, however, we are also able to source certified and tested extracts on your behalf, should that be your preference.
Yes. We only use food-grade (GRAS) or pharmaceutical-grade (USP) ingredients in all our formulations. In most formulations, all ingredients are also natural and organic.
We can, unless your extract contains more than 0.3% of Delta-9 THC or any other ingredient that is not legal in the State of Florida. We will need to review the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for your extract before we can confirm that we can work with it.
Pricing depends on several items:
- Type of your bioactive extract
- Concentration of your extract in the finished product
- Total amount of product to produce
- Frequency of orders
- Overall amount of business that we conduct with your organization
Please email the details of your request to in**@**********cs.com. We will reach out with pricing within 1 - 2 business days.
Yes, we are a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-registered facility and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS)-licensed Hemp Food Establishment that adheres to strict GMP practices.
No, but we can work with all other cannabinoids (including Delta-8 THC, Delta-10 THC, THC-0, HHC, THCP, and THCV), kratom extracts, and mushroom extracts that are legal in the State of Florida.
While we offer effervescent tablets comprising our water-soluble kratom extract powder (50 mg of mitragynine per tablet), we do not currently supply them in large quantities. We do, however, provide large amounts of the core ingredient of these tablets - the water-soluble kratom extract powder itself. In most cases, this freely water-soluble powder is made from a client-supplied kratom extract (preferably, containing at least 65 % of mitragynine) and contains 10 - 12 % of mitragynine.
Depending on type of bioactive ingredient that is infused in your beverage and gives it the bitter taste, our bitter blocker nanoemulsions may mask the bitterness completely or partially suppress it. Bitter blocker nanoemulsions with an added flavor (e.g., peppermint, spearmint) tend to work best.
Since we are the original formulation developer and manufacturer of all our products, we can create many variations of bitter blocker nanoemulsions with different flavors. Just let us know your preference.
Yes. If you are interested in producing your own nano-formulations, please contact Industrial Sonomechanics, who can provide the necessary equipment and formulations (NanoStabilizers):Ā https://info.sonomechanics.com/contact-us-general-inquiry
The solubility of mitragynine (the primary bioactive alkaloid in the kratom plant) in neutral-pH and alkaline water is too low (0.0187 mg/ml at pH 9) )[1]. In acidic water, the solubility is higher (3.5 mg/ml at pH 4), however, mitragynine becomes unstable (10 % loss in 6 hours) )[1], so low-pH beverages have an extremely short shelf life.
We are able to formulate mitragynine as a readily water-soluble powder that can be fully dissolved in water, juices, sports drinks, carbonated beverages, teas, ready-to-drink coffee, incorporated into supplements, protein blends, capsules, tablets, effervescent tablets, and more!
